Shadow: a dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface
Sadness, Gloom
Human emotions have layers of sadness and happiness, which are translated into light and shadow. It is very hard to remove gloomy emotions once someone is trapped in the dark side. However, happiness and sadness cannot exist without each other, so as light and shadow.
